Maybe you’ve heard of Virtual Assistance before and maybe you have not. In either case, you probably have some questions about what VAs do, how we do it and why you should care!

What is a Virtual Assistant?

A Virtual Assistant or VA is an independent contractor that provides top-class administrative support, virtually, to small business owners. Virtual Assistants can be an entrepreneur’s sole administrative support or called upon on an as-needed basis for one-time projects.

How does working with a Virtual Assistant really work?

After an initial phone call with the entrepreneur requiring virtual administrative assistance, I will assess your needs, determine whether any members of my team are required and we will enter into an agreement. All work will be handled remotely. We will probably never have to meet face to face as all communication is done through phone, fax, e-mail, courier and instant messenger.

I will be in regular contact with you to ensure projects are being completed in a timely manner and that everyone is happy with the arrangement.

Because as a VA, I am an entrepreneur myself, I will do my best to ensure you are satisfied with my work and if you are not, all efforts will be made to make it right!

How can a Virtual Assistant benefit me?

CMJ Virtual Office Manager will benefit your business in a variety of ways. Who can use a Virtual Assistant?

When a small business owner hits a certain level of success they discover they can’t continue to do everything themselves but they find that they are not quite in a position, or have the need, for a full time administrative assistant. A Virtual Assistant fills the need of these entrepreneurs by handling their immediate and frequently their ongoing office needs. Corporate offices also use Virtual Assistants to handle all the things that their administrative staff just can’t find the time to complete. Basically any size or type of business can utilize the services of a Virtual Assistant.

How do Virtual Assistants handle privacy issues?

I will sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement with you when you begin working together but ultimately you have to trust me. I will provide you with references if you wish and you’re welcome to contact one or two of them to help determine if we’ll be the right fit for this relationship.
